Criteria for selection was an ergonomic chair suitable for team members in the AMP Wellington office. The 3 lever Metro chair with seat slide was chosen for consideration and then short listed. The short list of chairs were then put to a staff vote. The Buro Metro chair came out on top and 240 seats were required for the fitout.

Oh, my, what a brilliant chair this Buro Metro is!
I had paid a lot of money for a chair in the past, with all the bells and whistles – but I had backache after a couple of minutes in it, no matter how I squirmed to be posturally correct. I have a damaged back which led me to the miracle of chiropractic. This wonderful modality has enabled me to live a full and active life and practice, but now I am at a computer more and need to sit carefully.
I am delighted with my Buro Metro chair. It allows me to rotate my hip bones forwards into proper alignment, taking pressure off low back discs and sacroiliac joints. These factors are vital to my low back stability and of course translates into the rest of my spine being in a better position and energy flowing as it should. The seat is very well padded with malleable material (PU moulded foam) for great comfort and good circulation.
I also value the ability of this chair to prevent pain and problems for me, associated with bad posture and discomfort.
